Send a photo from your iPhone

Add the Shortcut once, then choose Recipe to Crouton from a photo’s Share menu. Your recipe opens here for a quick review.

Add to Shortcuts Open on your iPhone in Safari. Tap Add Shortcut and paste your access token during setup. If you already installed an older version, remove it and add this updated file to get multi-image support.

Start with the good stuff

Use up to 8 ordered screenshots, cookbook pages, or recipe text. Overlapping screenshots are merged into one recipe. A photo of a finished dish alone does not contain a recipe.

Choose 1–8 JPEG, PNG or WebP images, up to 20 MB each. They are read in selection order, resized before upload, and the first image is used on the published recipe. For HEIC, convert to JPEG first. Used to create recipes. Never included in your shared link.
